Why we're doomed

Bill Webb writes...
We are becoming a multi-cutural nation which is Bad! No Nation can be great unless it is united as one culture. History shows us that. The USA was united prior to WWII and during it and look what we were able to do. We won a war over Germany and Japan and then we rebuilt half the world. Now our congress is full of curupded individuals who are out to serve them selves and are distorying the nation in the process. The only why to save this Nation is to re-unite as one people with one goal. We must get back into manufacturing for our selves so we are no longer dependent on other countries. Japan and China own us now we can not be great until we have no depts. Frankly I don't see that happening. As a United nation we are finished and soon a dictator will take over tossing the constution out the window. Good bye freedom. Read history it's happened before!

The only reason we would be doomed is if we determine it to be so. Presuming there is room on this site for differing opinions, I don't believe for a second that we are doomed. I wrote something recently that touches on this. It can be found at my website.

How little play Obama's Q&A session at the GOP House Issues retreat got in the press, and how few people probably had the attention span to watch the video of the whole thing.

Even if we reduced our carbon emissions to zero today, it would still be too late to prevent coastal flooding and other catastrophic effects of global warming.
